Course Calendar

One of the class participants helpfully prepared an ics calendar file and I imported that into Google Calendar. I was surprised the Coursera site itself did not offer us a calendar to subscribe to. Anyway, here's the calendar - I've made it public, so anyone can grab a copy of this calendar to have; just click on the AddCalendar button at the bottom of the embedded calendar here.

  1. Just letting you know that I'm also a student taking this course and really appreciate what you've already covered in your blog. This is one of three Coursera classes I'm taking this "semester" in my free time just for fun, but this is the one I'm most excited about.

  2. Nice to meet you, Alanna! I knew I wanted to do a MOOC (since I teach online as my regular job, I really need to learn about how these work)... so I kept looking and looking for the right one, and this is definitely the perfect one for me since I am so excited about the content. I feel like Hermione Granger sitting in the front row, bouncing up and down waving her hand. Hermione needed a blog, ha ha. :-)

  4. Google Calendar is great - I love being able to mix-and-match, with separate calendars for the courses I teach with different color coding. :-)

  9. I didn't save the link or the original file - but I bet if you search the Coursera discussion boards for the word calendar or ics you will be able to find the file he originally shared!
